ICP 2020
A word from the ICP 2020 Co-Chairs
On behalf of the organizing committee, we would like to extend a warm welcome to the attendees and speakers at the 2020 Interdisciplinary Conference in Psychology (ICP|CIP). Previously known as Psychology Outside the Box (POTB), the conference has grown and flourished since its beginning in 2011. For instance, in this ninth edition, ICP has expanded its high school outreach stream to hundreds of high school students and received an impressive number of abstract submissions.
Under this year’s unique circumstances, ICP has adapted its format to make this conference a reality and, as always, to continue to promote research and disseminate knowledge. In these uncertain times, our committee wishes to express our unwavering support to our community.
ICP’s accomplishments over the years would not have been possible without the continuous dedication of its committed members. We would thus like to thank our members, volunteers and board of directors for their commitment to making this conference a success. We would also like to thank ICP’s numerous collaborators and sponsors for their support over the years. In particular, we would like to highlight the unwavering and warm support from the School of Psychology at the University of Ottawa.
Finally, our special thanks go out to all of you for once again joining ICP 2020. We sincerely hope that this year’s conference will serve as an opportunity for enrichment and reflection on the amazing advances in the diverse field of psychology, as well as on the benefits of open scientific communication. We look forward to learning with and from you!
